Program

Students play simple chords, learn strumming patterns, learn to read notes and begin to acquire fundamentals of music - beat, rhythm, form, melody and harmony. We emphasize the fundamentals of music as well as encourage Exploration and Creativity.  We use books from Belwin's 21st Century Guitar Library by Aaron Stang.

• Ages 7 and up
• Lessons are once a week
• Weekday evenings Monday-Thursday from 4pm to 9pm, Daytime lessons available
• Enrollment September through June in 12 Week Sessions
• Options are available for Students wishing to pursue their studies during the summer
• Students must have their own Guitar
• Handouts are included and students get free entry to perform in our recitals.

Registration

Payment is collected upon registration in order to secure a lesson time.

Parents will be notified of the Session dates prior to the first lesson.  3 Sessions September to June, Fall Winter and Spring

There are no make-up lessons for missed lessons. 

• 30 minute private $450/12 weeks
• 60 minute private $70
• 45 minute group (3 or more students) $25/student, ($300/12 weeks)

Registration Fee: $75/Family-waived if registered by August 1st

Location South Scarborough and Norland, Coboconk, Kinmount, Kirkfield, Minden

There are no private lessons on Labour Day Monday, Thanksgiving Day Monday, October 31st Halloween, Winter Break, Family Day Monday, Spring/March Break, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day Monday.
